Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global animal health company known for its leadership in diagnostics and veterinary innovation.
Position: Lab Technician I
Location: Wheat Ridge, CO
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $2 (28.00/hour) 8/hr
Duration: 6 months to start, with potential for extension
We are seeking a Lab Technician I to join a fast-paced, high-quality diagnostic laboratory environment. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in delivering accurate results that directly support animal health, working alongside veterinarians, medical teams, and fellow lab professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare biological specimens across departments including hematology, urinalysis, serology, chemistry, endocrinology, parasitology, cytology, and coagulation
Operate automated analyzers, microscopes, and diagnostic equipment across various sample types (blood, serum, urine, feces)
Perform, review, and document laboratory tests in accordance with SOPs
Conduct routine and non-routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Review and validate Quality Control data, including Levey-Jennings charts
Ensure proper specimen handling, storage, and documentation
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and biohazard guidelines
Keep a clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace
Manage laboratory logs, records, and inventory
Prepare and ship specimens in compliance with DOT regulations
Support general lab operations as needed
Qualifications:
MT, MLT, or CVT/RVT preferred
2- or 4-year degree in a scientific field considered
1–5+ years of laboratory experience (based on education level)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
Comfortable working in a high-throughput, fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility for overtime as needed

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
