Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a dynamic healthcare organization in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management and healthcare billing. The Controller will play a vital role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and leading financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid billing standards, addressing any regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and skill development.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all financial transactions.
• Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Spearhead audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proven expertise in Medicare and Medicaid billing processes.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with document control and scanning procedures.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
