Crafted Highlights:
As the Assistant Plant Manager working in Wheat Ridge, CO you will ensure the proper facilitation of the team culture across all functional and cross functional disciplines of operations within the facility. You will implement and refine improvement opportunities to maximize the performance of the total operations. Additionally, you'll ensure that all Company policy, legislative, safety, environmental and quality required standards are implemented as appropriate and adhered to by all team members. This role leads instruction over the plant furnace(s) to achieve the KPIs (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Flexibility, and Cost) in line with Plant Objectives. We look to this position to provide continuous improvement principles in all areas of responsibility – technical, quality, safety, environment, financial, people. Additionally, this role ensures adequate resources from both internal and external service departments to ensure high performance and equipment reliability. This position is vital as it serves as the industry expert and leads as the plants technical resource/knowledge base regarding glass. It is the responsibility of this person to stay connected with the latest learning(s) from our O-I partners and cascade accordingly to RMBC. This role is essential for the overall success of the partners.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
Advanced familiarity with the technical aspects of packaging operations
Advanced knowledge of packaging practices and procedures
Familiarity with the technical aspects of packaging operations and associated equipment
Thorough knowledge of production scheduling
Thorough knowledge of packaging quality with the ability to analyze business reports and recognize trends that adversely impact quality
Strong understanding of Asset CARE concepts (Capability, Availability, Reliability, and Enhancement) for installed equipment, including maintenance routines and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the managerial ability to directly manage personnel while supporting technical training and personal development
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing concepts such as World Class Manufacturing, with the ability to establish and implement workplace strategies aligned to business needs
Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA regulations, employee relations practices and policies, TTB regulations, plant safety regulations, FDA guidelines for food plants, and environmental regulations related to glass production operations
Ability to apply high-level root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills at all levels
Ability to set priorities and provide appropriate structure to resolve problems and issues
Key Ingredients:
Minimum of ten years in a leadership position managing multiple departments in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of glass industry experience with proven management and continuous improvement skills
Ability to analyze data and recognize detrimental trends that could impact the company through increased costs, potential regulatory issues, or risk management exposure
Flexibility to respond to frequent changes in production requirements and or systems and equipment failures
Ability to provide basic scheduling and technical support during preventative maintenance activities, including expendable refractory replacement, combustion filter replacement, burner maintenance, and mechanism replacement

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings : $126,500.00 - $166,000.00 (posting salary range) + 15 % target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
