Following an internal promotion, we’re now looking for a Senior Advisor, Employee Relations to play a critical role in partnering with our leaders and supporting our employees through complex and often sensitive people matters. This role is central to strengthening manager capability, managing risk with sound judgement, and helping us build a fair, consistent, and inclusive workplace where our values are lived every day. This role is based at our Weybridge office, with the option to work from home up to one day per week based on business need. Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Weybridge office a minimum of 4 days per week.
Work pattern: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week.
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
Leading and managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases end‑to‑end, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, redundancy, and TUPE matters
Acting as a trusted ER expert to managers and HR colleagues, providing pragmatic, legally sound advice aligned to Saputo values
Coaching and upskilling managers to improve confidence, capability, and early resolution of people issues
Supporting organisational change programmes through sound ER judgement and risk‑based recommendations
Using ER data and insights to identify trends, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in employee experience
Contributing to the development and review of ER policies, guidance, and manager toolkits
Playing an active role in union engagement, collective consultation, and constructive industrial relations
Supporting improvements in Occupational Health processes, referrals, and outcomes
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
Proven experience in a senior or complex Employee Relations advisory role, managing high‑risk cases independently
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and the ACAS Code of Practice
The confidence and credibility to influence, coach, and challenge leaders constructively
Strong written skills, with the ability to produce clear, defensible ER documentation
A data‑driven mindset, using insight to inform decisions and proactively manage risk
