Job Title: Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to join our Colorado structural engineering team, supporting the planning, design, and construction of water, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role will be based out of the Westminster (Denver) office, with flexibility for hybrid or remote work. The engineer will support projects locally and across the Midwest, working within a multidisciplinary team environment. Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, and manage structural engineering scope and schedules for mid-sized projects or assist senior engineers on large projects.
Perform structural analysis and design to advance project development.
Produce contract documents including calculations, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate structural designs with other engineering disciplines.
Represent the structural discipline in project meetings.
Conduct quality management reviews of structural designs.
Perform site investigations and evaluations of existing structures and prepare reports.
Mentor and train entry-level structural engineers.
Assist CADD technicians in developing structural plans.
Provide cost and schedule estimates for structural engineering services.
Support construction by resolving field issues and RFIs.
Assist in developing and improving structural design standards and details.
Travel and perform site visits as required.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
4+ years of experience in structural engineering.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
Experience or interest in water treatment facilities or industrial structures such as concrete, steel, or reinforced masonry.
EIT certification and pursuing PE is preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous commercial experience is considered if interested in switching disciplines to water treatment.
Experience in structural detailing.
Work Environment
The position is based out of the Westminster (Denver) office with flexibility for hybrid or remote work. The role supports projects in Colorado and the western region. The work environment emphasizes mentorship and professional development, with clear paths from entry-level to sr. technical leadership. Employees have exposure to complex, large-scale, nationally recognized projects. There is a deep technical bench in water infrastructure, and flexibility in work schedule after training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
