A Typical Day
Work with IT/business applications team to streamline DevOps processes including pipelines, cloud engineering, repository management, API integration, security, and data synchronization. Introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to balance the needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment, to maintenance and updates. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of the design within time and cost constraints. Support implemented solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance, and communicating functional and technical issues. Perform code inspections and re-factoring code to meet standards. The Senior DevOps Engineer will monitor the functioning of equipment to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications. Participate in data model reviews, walkthroughs, application, and module performance analysis to modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Digital Engineer or in a related position. Experience must include Implementing CI/CD pipelines for machine learning workflows; developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes; designing and managing infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation; designing and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures; applying advanced scripting and automation skills for operational efficiency; and AWS Services (Sagemaker).

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
