Responsibilities
Prepare, label, and organize product samples for testing.
Operate testing equipment such as battery test cabinets, environmental test chambers, and other mechanical testing instruments.
Load and remove products to initiate or terminate tests according to schedule.
Adhere to safety and operational processes, including product disposal and inventory management.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure the test lab is organized.
Follow all safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves.
Essential Skills
Basic computer knowledge and navigation capability.
Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Experience or coursework related to a STEM technical field, with a preference for Engineering, Industrial, Physics, or Mathematics.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience working in a testing, R&D, or laboratory environment.
Work Environment
The position is based on a manufacturing floor environment within an R&D test lab. The team employs a collaborative approach to scheduling and executing work, with an 'all hands on deck' philosophy where everyone assists wherever needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Westlake, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
