1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Legal Overview The Director Public Sector Compliance is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing implementing and maintaining compliance programs for public sector certifications and regulatory frameworks across multiple geographies. This role ensures the organization meets and exceeds requirements for U.S. Federal and State programs such as FedRAMP GovRAMP TX-RAMP as well as international public sector standards such as UK Cyber Essentials Plus Spain ENS IRAP and others. The Director Public Sector Compliance requires deep expertise in governance risk management and compliance (GRC) within highly regulated environments. Responsibilities Own the enterprise compliance roadmap for public sector programs aligning certification priorities with organizational strategy and businessobjectives. +B6:G26 Define and execute multi-year compliance strategies for U.S. federal/state and international frameworks. Providestrategic guidance on compliance impacts for new initiatives vendor selection and technology investments. Monitor regulatory changes and emerging standards; assess implications for organizational compliance posture. Collaborate with internal teams (Security Engineering Legal Product) to ensure compliance requirements are embedded in system architecture and product development. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors regulatory bodies and public sector customers. Lead end-to-end certification and audit cycles for FedRAMP GovRAMP TX-RAMP UK CE+ Spain ENS IRAP and other regional programs. Build and lead a high-performing compliance team focused on public sector programs. Establish and assure leadership adherence to budgets schedules work plans and performance requirements Collaborate with senior management and executives to define and ensure success of department strategy Provide managerial direction and oversee all aspects of performance management for direct reports. Measure and hold direct reports accountable for meeting defined performance standards; provide feedback to employees; ensure management team is defining and holding teams accountable for all aspects of performance management of direct reports Oversee and hold management accountable for all Human Resources-related managerial functions and responsibilities associated with hiring compensation management employment relations and termination of employees. Oversee the identification and hiring of new employees Oversee and ensure the development of team members; provides coaching to employees through their personal growth in: functional expertise communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients and peers. Identify and develop future leaders. Provide strategic influence to internal peers and industry groups Serve as an escalation point for complex issues; provide guidance and resources to assist with resolution of issues and removing obstacles for team Work with the leadership to plan and set the strategic vision organizational structure operating policies and procedures and management practices to ensure department delivers operational excellence Evaluate the process and procedures used by team; Identify opportunities for process improvement and greater efficiency and serve as an advocate for change. Work collaboratively across departments with leaders Establish governance models and operational processes tomaintaincontinuous compliance and audit readiness. Drive automation and scalability in evidence collection control monitoring and reporting.
