LOGISTICS COORDINATOR Seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to arrange delivery and coordinate pick-ups of granite curb for this full-time, in-person, office-based position in Westford, MA. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate incoming and outgoing granite slab deliveries, transfers, and pickups - Schedule trucks, drivers, forklifts, and cranes efficiently to avoid delays - Communicate daily with vendors, fabricators, installers, and customers regarding delivery times and changes - Prepare and verify bills of lading, delivery tickets, and shipping paperwork - Track inventory movement within the yard and between locations - Ensure loads are properly staged, secured, and labeled for transport - Work closely with yard staff to prioritize jobs and manage space constraints - Monitor delivery timelines and resolve logistical issues in real time - Maintain accurate records in logistics or inventory software - Enforce yard safety procedures and coordinate safe loading/unloading practices - Assist with problem-solving when damaged material, shortages, or scheduling conflicts occur Required Skills & Qualifications - 2+ years of logistics, dispatch, or coordination experience (construction, stone, or building materials preferred) - Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment - Clear verbal and written communication skills - Ability to read job orders, delivery schedules, and slab identification - Comfortable working outdoors in a yard environment - Basic computer skills (scheduling software, inventory systems, email) - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes - Knowledge of DOT requirements and load safety is a plus Physical & Work Environment Requirements - Regularly working in an active granite yard with heavy equipment - Standing, walking, and moving throughout the yard for extended periods - Exposure to dust, weather, noise, and heavy materials - Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE Preferred (Nice to Have) - Experience with granite, marble, quartz, or other stone materials - Forklift or crane coordination experience - Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Familiarity with fabrication and installation timelines After probationary period, applicant will be eligible for paid holiday and vacation time off as well as health, vision, dental, and retirement plan benefits.
