JOB SUMMARY
As a Lab Analyst, you will perform and document routine and specialized laboratory tasks in both our Chemistry and Microbiology labs. You'll play a key role in supporting our water treatment operations by analyzing environmental samples, conducting quality control tests, and assisting with cutting-edge research that directly contributes to our success. Your work will help ensure the highest standards in our water treatment processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process environmental samples and conduct microbial testing to ensure water quality meets Company's high standards.
Perform quality control tests on Company products, ensuring they are safe, effective, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Use advanced lab equipment like ion chromatography, inductively coupled plasma, spectrophotometers, and other methods to analyze water samples related to treatment processes.
Perform corrosion coupon and deposit analyses to support our water treatment programs.
Prepare solutions, reagents, and media, maintain lab records, perform daily calibrations, and assist with general lab cleaning and inventory management.
Work closely with our research and development, operations, and quality control teams to continuously improve our water treatment processes.
Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, with a solid understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and high standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document findings.
Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated team player who demonstrates integrity, leadership ability, and strong social skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology
Past work experience in a chemistry or microbiology lab
