Graybar Manager Customer Projects Team - Electrical in Western, Washington

The Manager Customer Projects Team is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of team’s assigned customer projects ensuring consistency with appropriate strategy, commitments, and goals. The Manager Customer Projects Team is responsible for managing 16+ project specialists and achieving annual sales targets of $150 million plus, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with established pricing and operational policies.
In this role you will:
Provide leadership in the planning, documentation, and ongoing execution of customer projects, as assigned.
Ensure customer projects are billed out completely, accurately, and timely capturing revenue and margin leakage for successful project close-outs.
Create and maintain a consistent approach to project order management and services. Act as a change agent for continuous improvement through enhanced methodologies.
Assist in defining project order scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with district management and customer requirements.
Develop full-scale project order plans and schedule project order timelines.
Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project order goals; assume administrative role for onsite or virtual meetings, calls, and webinars between internal and external participants. Manage project spend.
Provide direction and support to customer project order teams; coach and mentor team members on project order management and general project management techniques.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools; monitor and report on progress of projects to key stakeholders.
Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans to ensure the achievement of project outputs.
What you bring to the table:
5+ years of experience: This is a senior-level Project Order management position for an individual with substantial experience in orders management
5-7years’ experience: Project Order Management preferred
Four-year degree: Or equivalent business or operations experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Planning, organizational, and time management skills
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Conflict management skills
Decision making skills with the ability to take appropriate risks

Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $105,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
