What You’ll Do

The Revenue Cycle Operations Coordinator supports efficient and effective department operations through oversight of workflow, delegation, process improvement, and performance coordination. This role enhances patient experience and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with Trinity Health’s mission and strategic objectives. The position works closely with leadership, supports policy development, and stewards resources to achieve high-quality standards while maintaining confidentiality, safety, and compliance at all times. In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and streamline operational, technical, and clerical support services to enhance workflows and departmental processes.

  • Organize workload, prioritize customer needs, and support high-quality daily performance.

  • Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to a small team; assist leadership with onboarding, education, and performance feedback.

  • Develop and maintain procedural standards along with training and orientation materials.

  • Use multiple system applications for accurate data collection and management while ensuring quality, confidentiality, and safety.

  • Collaborate with leadership on performance improvement initiatives, solution development, and process enhancements.

  • Review performance metrics—including front-end denials—and provide consultation to Directors, Practice Managers, and Supervisors.

  • Conduct site visits and work closely with operational leaders across medical group practice locations.

  • Monitor dashboards for performance variances and trends; partner with leaders to develop action plans.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workspace aligned with regulatory standards.

  • Support team member development and maintain ongoing personal and professional growth.

Shift – Hybrid. This position offers a hybrid schedule with a blend of on-site and remote work. On-site presence may include routine visits across assigned practice or clinic locations.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field OR 7–10 years of professional billing experience.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting front-end revenue cycle workflows, performance metrics, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operational and leadership teams.

  • Ability to effectively organize workflows, prioritize customer needs, and mentor others.

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards; commitment to compliance and ethical practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HFMA, MGMA, AAPC, or other healthcare-related certification.

  • Six Sigma or LEAN certification.

Pay Range: Starting at $100,214.40
