Occupational Therapy Clinical Supervisor
Details about this opportunity:
Location: Westbury (with travel to LI districts for caseload and supervision)
Status: Full-Time; 12 month schedule with Flexible PTO
Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8a-4p
Compensation: Starting at $75,000
Please note this is a range/average. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities:
Works closely and collaboratively with the Assistant Director and Clinical Director of the company to determine and delegate short-term and long-term clinical improvement initiatives.
Collaborates with Assistant Director and Clinical Director in the development and implementation of internal trainings for continuing education, compliance, and professional growth to all employees
Participate in collaborative team meetings clinical providers, clinicians, and paraprofessionals
Assisting in Managing the schedule, supervision, and evaluation of designated team members
Attend Professional Development Trainings, as required
Provide direct and/or indirect services to students and families, conduct evaluations, and/or provide coverage for staff absences as deemed necessary by their supervisors.
Up to ten administrative hours per week
Assisting the Assistant Directors for the following:
Field phone calls/emails/texts from therapists
Report reading
Training new therapists:
Interpreting and understanding IEPs
Log writing
Report writing
Guidance regarding communication with county coordinators/school districts /parents with concerns
Explanations of forms (meeting forms, request for meetings forms, how to determine appropriate ICD-10 codes, and CPT codes
Answer and assist them with questions ranging from clinical concerns to billing
Evaluation training
Direct observations of specific children who are difficult to either manage behaviorally or who have multiple needs (language, cognition, motor, etc.,)
Additional Responsibilities may include:
Utilizing Excel to track all key indicators
Performs other work as may be assigned by the line leaders
Utilizing online programs or platforms to provide support as needed

And this background:
Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
Minimum of three years of experience working with children with special needs, ages birth through 21
Minimum of 1 year of experience providing supervision and feedback to clinicians
Proficient computer skills: MS Word, Excel, EMR
