Join Our Client as a Senior Corporate Accountant
Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to make a strategic impact? Our client is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to play a key role in our growing finance and accounting team. This position is designed for a detail-oriented leader who can ensure accounting accuracy, manage complex financial operations, and drive process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Oversee compliance with accounting controls and corporate policies.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and support audit processes, liaising with external auditors and regulatory agencies as required.
Reconcile balance sheets and manage complex intercompany transactions.
Partner cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices.
Support payroll management activities as needed.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or advanced accounting certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a corporate or public accounting environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or QuickBooks.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and BI/reporting tools such as PowerBI or SQL; experience with Python a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
