Summary:
TheBartendermixes and serves drinks to guests and Servers within the establishment. Accepts money and provides change, process debit/credit card transactions, stocks supply, clear tables while maintaining a friendly and professional image.
Essential Job functions:
- Greet guests in prompt courteous manner and thank guest upon departure.
- Responsibly mixes and serves drinks, according to the policy and procedure, for servers and guests.
- Clear off and clean tables after each use and make sure they are set properly.
- Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
- Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlet.
- Promote positive guest relations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Must have excellent alcohol service knowledge.
- Ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.
- Resolve problems using good judgment, displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.
- Ability to work well with guests and colleagues.
- Knowledge of applicable local state and federal health and safety regulations.
- Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
