Guill Tool & Engineering CNC Milling Machinist (1st & 2nd Shift) in West Warwick, Rhode Island
DESCRIPTION: Machinist sets up and operates conventional, special purpose and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to manufacture parts by performing the following duties:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
Cuts material as required by shop router and sign off operation on shop router.
Works in accordance with OSHA Safety regulations.
Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, signs off operations on router.
Be sure that 1st piece inspection is performed as required.
Keeps work area and machine clean, neat and safe.
Performs other duties as required or instructed by Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably a US Citizen.
Some experience preferred.
