Job Title: Brazing Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Brazing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for brazing copper piping and metal components according to engineering specifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our assemblies by performing precise brazing and testing procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform brazing of copper piping and metal components according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
Prepare and clean parts for brazing, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
Conduct pressure and vacuum tests on brazed assemblies.
Operate related equipment such as torches, grinders, and presses.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with OSHA safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
Assist with machine setup and minor maintenance as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in brazing, welding, and metal fabrication.
Ability to accurately braze refrigerant lines and copper piping.
Experience in performing pressure and vacuum tests on brazed assemblies.
Familiarity with HVAC installation procedures, pipe sizing, and ACR piping standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HVAC installation and pipefitting.
Experience with machine operation and production workflows.
Knowledge of batch processing and chemical handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Warwick, RI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
