Job Title: D&D/Waste Operations Craft This position is open through 4/6/2026 Compensation:$ 38.50 -$48.66 (Hourly) VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION The D-D/Waste Ops Craft position is responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical assignments safely in hazard-controlled work environments such as radiological, asbestos, lead, industrial, chemical, etc. using unique skills in highly specialized assignments with a crew controlled by supervision while following all safety and security rules, procedures and practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A. Education/Experience: Associate degree in Heavy Equipment Technician or Maintenance Minimum of four (4) years related experience Experience with diesel engines and troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics preferred B. Licenses/Certifications: Heavy Equipment Journeyman preferred Must possess a valid drivers license C. Other Requirements: Obtain and maintain DOE Access authorization. Must be able to successfully complete training requirements and maintain all other qualifications as necessary Must be able to operate shop equipment and tools necessary to perform job Able to work shift work Able to obtain and maintain respirator qualificationsAll qualified candidates are encouraged
