ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer in West Salem, Ohio

  • Monitor quality performance metrics for trends or causes to determine risks and opportunities in the Quality Management System

  • Ensuring processes adhere to quality standards

  • Develop or establish new standards and update existing standards

  • Develop written work instructions and procedures based on ISO 9001:2015 Standard

  • Provide input into work instructions, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing methods to ensure quality

  • Reviews customer complaints and lead development of corrective action responses

  • Facilitate process improvement efforts with teams to ensure continued improvement and correction of process issues

  • Review supplier scorecards and monitor supplier performance

  • Communicate supplier issues and issue corrective actions for nonconformances

  • Internal and external audit support

  • Develop and implement quality control plans

  • Work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

  • ASQ or AIAG Certifications in the areas of Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing preferred

  • Experience in quality tools; auditing, statistical process control (SPC), production part approval process

  • Experience with manufacturing process controls

  • Manufacturing blueprint reading including GD&T required

  • Knowledge and application of ISO 9001:2015 Standard

  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Teams) and SAP systems

  • Ability to work closely with both internal and external resources in the areas of quality planning, risk analysis corrective action and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work independently, represent a professional manner, be able to make decisions

  • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
