Senior Project Manager – Electrical ConstructionAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑profile, complex electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you will own project performance—schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction—while mentoring teams, driving financial results, and delivering work that sets the standard in the industry.

What You’ll Be Responsible ForProject Leadership & Execution
Lead end‑to‑end project planning, execution, and delivery for large, complex electrical construction projects
Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Ensure projects meet all contractual requirements, codes, and regulatory standards
Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide hands‑on leadership to project teams, field foremen, and support staff
Delegate responsibilities, monitor performance, and mentor team members to support career development
Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture built on accountability, communication, and problem‑solving
Lead regular project and team meetings to align priorities and drive results
Financial Management & Profitability
Own project financial performance, including:
Budget development and cost forecasting
Monthly billings and profit projections
Expense tracking and variance analysis
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting
Change Orders & Contract Management
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage change orders, ensuring fair compensation and schedule protection
Oversee preparation, submission, and tracking of proposed and approved change orders
Maintain accurate documentation to support compliance and protect project margins
Negotiate and manage contracts with general contractors, clients, and subcontractors
Client & Stakeholder Relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and solutions clearly and professionally
Build long‑term relationships with clients, suppliers, and trade partners
Address concerns quickly while maintaining strong partnerships and trust
Documentation & Process Excellence
Establish and maintain effective document control systems for drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change orders
Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (JDI, RIE, A3s, SOPs)
Champion best practices and standardized processes across projects
Innovation & Professional Growth
Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and emerging electrical construction methods
Bring forward ideas that improve safety, efficiency, quality, and outcomes
Represent the company at industry events, trainings, and conferences
Actively model and reinforce company core values in daily work and leadership decisions
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of electrical project management experience, including large‑scale and complex projects
Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Strong leadership experience managing project teams and field operations
Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Advanced knowledge of electrical construction methods, codes, and regulations
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proficiency with project management software and construction technology tools

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $114000.00 - $149000.00/yr.
