Description
We are looking for a dedicated Part Time RE Loan Officer to join our team in West Roxbury or Peabody, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in real estate loan processing, underwriting, and quality control. Responsibilities:
• Process and underwrite real estate loan applications with precision and efficiency.
• Review and assess consumer loan applications to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Conduct quality control checks on both consumer and real estate loans to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize the Encompass system effectively for loan processing and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely loan approvals and exceptional service delivery.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in loan documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of current lending regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide detailed reports and feedback on loan quality and processing efficiency.
• Support the team in achieving overall lending objectives and performance goals.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing, underwriting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in real estate and consumer lending practices.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with the Encompass loan origination system.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with current lending regulations and industry standards.
