Ozarks Medical Center Pharmacy Technician - Non-Certified in West Plains, Missouri
The Medication Access Specialist supports patients, clinical teams, and the pharmacy department by securing timely, affordable access to medications. This role coordinates and oversees the OZH medication assistance program and, when necessary, navigates insurance benefits, prior authorizations, financial assistance programs, and manufacturer support. The specialist is the key liaison between the patient, provider, payers, pharmacies, and patient assistant resources to reduce treatment delays and improve patient outcomes.
This role will assist with inventory management, cost analysis, financial reviews, software implementation/maintenance, and additional projects as needed. The specialist assists with pharmacy duties and contributes to department operations and communications.
Under the supervision of the pharmacists, assists in preparing and distributing drugs. Maintains the drug inventory and pharmacy records. High School Diploma or equivalent Missouri State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration
