Sit‑Down Forklift Operator
Full‑Time | Consistent Schedule | Long‑Term Opportunity
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled and safety‑focused Sit‑Down Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is dedicated exclusively to forklift operation and material movement. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and replenishing inventory throughout the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory flow and following all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a sit‑down forklift on a daily basis to move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers safely and efficiently
Transport product to designated warehouse locations for replenishment and storage
Stage inventory for shipping and receiving and assist with dock operations as needed
Use RF scanning technology to scan and track inventory movements accurately
Verify product quantities and report inventory discrepancies to leadership
Conduct routine equipment checks and report mechanical or safety concerns
Follow all OSHA, safety, and warehouse operating procedures
Maintain clean, organized, and hazard‑free work areas
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
Remain flexible with hours and assist with extended shifts when business needs require
Required Qualifications
2+ years of forklift experience , specifically operating a sit‑down forklift
Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Experience loading and unloading trailers
Comfortable using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Interest in a long‑term position with growth potential
Preferred Skills
Experience handling high‑value or fragile inventory
Strong understanding of inventory flow and material handling procedures
Team‑focused attitude with strong communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
