Job Description
Forklift Operator – 1st Shift
$17+ /hr
We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team on 1st shift. This role is primarily focused on inventory replenishment and material handling, with a balanced mix of forklift operation and general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term career opportunity within a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and replenish inventory
Stock shelves and put away incoming materials accurately and efficiently
Use RF scanners to track inventory and complete transactions
Perform order picking, packing, and loading as needed
Assist with shipping and receiving functions
Maintain accurate inventory levels and support inventory control processes
Use pallet jacks and assist with general warehouse labor tasks
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
Spend approximately 60% of the shift operating a forklift and 40% performing non-forklift warehouse duties
Required Skills

RF scanner usage
Inventory handling and basic inventory control

Loading and unloading materials
General warehouse operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Proven sit-down forklift experience
RF scanner experience required
Ability to perform both equipment operation and hands-on warehouse tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable attendance and willingness to grow within the company

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST PALM BEACH, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
