Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized bookkeeping processes. This position offers an opportunity to work with QuickBooks Online and contribute to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Enter financial data into QuickBooks Online with precision and attention to detail.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial accounts.
• Prepare financial records and reports to support client needs and firm requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing materials for audits or reviews as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance bookkeeping operations. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with its tools and functionalities.
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in a firm setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
