We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory and Asset Management Specialist to ensure efficient tracking and maintenance of our unpowered assets and inventory systems. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in inventory and asset management
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues
Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional education in inventory management or a related field
Bachelor’s degree
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.
May require extended periods of standing.
Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.
Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the WMS/CED.Net Inventory system, keeping it up-to-date and organized, and upgrading systems as needed. Working to maintain an efficient and seamless warehouse and fulfillment operation.
VMI Field: Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand. Performing field VMI operations.
Computer Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting and setup for computers and related equipment as required.
Purchasing Support: Assist in purchasing activities as directed by the purchasing team, including updating matrices and pricing information.
