Project Manager | Salt Lake City,UT

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex structural steel construction projects from preconstruction through final erection. This role is ideal for a detail-driven leader who understands the full lifecycle of structural steel from estimating and design coordination to fabrication,erection,and closeout.

The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving schedule,cost,safety,and quality outcomes while collaborating closely with clients,engineers,fabricators,and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage structural steel projects from preconstruction through fabrication,erection,and closeout Lead preconstruction efforts including drawing review,scope definition,estimating support,and contract review Develop and maintain project schedules,manpower plans,and equipment coordination Oversee project budgets,cost tracking,change orders,and financial reporting Coordinate engineering,detailing,BIM,fabrication,and field erection activities Serve as the primary point of contact for clients,engineers,subcontractors,and internal teams Enforce OSHA safety requirements and internal quality standards through site visits and project audits

Qualifications

5 8+ years of project management experience specifically within the structural steel construction industry Proven experience managing large-scale steel projects from bid award through final erection Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication,erection methods,and codes (AISC,AWS,ASTM) Experience coordinating engineering,detailing,IFA/IFF drawings,fabrication,and field installation Proficiency with construction/project management software (Procore,MS Project,Primavera,etc.) Strong leadership,communication,and client-management skills PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred but not required

Pay

$130,000 $170,000 per year

Schedule

Part Time | Monday Friday | 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
