CTA COMMUNITY SUPPORTS Autism Aide in WEST JORDAN, Utah
We are immediately hiring multiple Full-Time and Part-Time Autism Aide positions. This position is available in our West Jordan and Sandy residential homes supporting male and female adults with Autism and other disabilities. No Experience Required!!
Schedule:
- Swing Shifts between 2PM-10PM
- Weekend Shifts Only
- Grave Shifts Between 9PM-9AM
As an Autism Aide (aka Direct Support Professional (DSP)/in-home caregiver), you will help our special needs adult female and male clients achieve their personal goals and have fun while doing so.
The people you support love to do fun activities like hitting up Ross for a good bargain, getting their morning coffee at Maverick or hitting up the library. The world needs to know how awesome they are!
You will help the people we support with daily activities including chores, cooking, personal hygiene, and medication. All the training you need is on-site and paid.

Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willing to help an individual with personal hygiene (showering and toileting)
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills (Slack, Note Taking, Smart Phone Usage)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor
- Be outgoing, friendly, and have a positive attitude
- A desire to help individuals with Autism and special needs
