Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible creating reports on inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory levels for Finished Goods. Working closely with the warehouse, accounting, and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy.

This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Complete inventory movements and or adjustments in SAP to ensure SAP is accurate to what is physically on hand for FG’s.

  2. Check in drivers and complete shipments once loads are completed and ensure shipping paperwork is completed accurately.

  3. Complete weekly cycle counts of FG’s to ensure 100% accuracy each quarter as well as at year end to ensure the warehouse is SOX compliant for West Jefferson.

  4. Assist production and or accounting with rework cycle counts when needed.

  5. Create and manage movements to 3PL’s based off production volume and inventory levels at West Jefferson warehouse.

  6. Manage 3PL inventory and all movements required to maintain accurate inventory at the 3PL’s

  7. Assist in maintaining Chep and iGPS inventory accuracy.

  8. Populate KPI data that is assigned to the IA.

  9. Complete all documents required for all shipments and ensure documents are accurate.

  10. Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and healthy in all jobs and tasks.

  11. Adhere to Quality work practices, follow all GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.

  12. Ensure regulatory compliance at all times.

  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience monitoring inventory levels; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. SAP experience is not required but preferred. Must have experience in Microsoft Excel.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-onone and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• The ability to use standard office technology such as a computer, copier/fax machine and phone system.
