Production Deburring & Finishing Technician
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Overview
As a Production Deburring and Finishing Technician , you will play a key role in the final stage of the manufacturing process by ensuring machined components meet strict quality, safety, and appearance standards. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, precision-driven work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished parts in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components using hand tools, power tools, grinders, buffers, and polishing equipment.
Perform deburring, grinding, buffing, and polishing operations to achieve smooth, consistent finishes.
Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and process documentation to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues promptly.
Collaborate with machinists, quality inspectors, and production team members to support workflow and meet production deadlines.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used for deburring and finishing.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and process sheets.
Basic experience using measuring tools for inspection purposes.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to meet production targets.
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in general labor or production roles within manufacturing.
Familiarity with grinders, buffers, polishers, and similar finishing equipment.
Experience working as part of a cross-functional production team.
Pride in producing visually clean, precise, and flawless finished parts.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
