BEE KINGDOM LLC Farmworker-Beekeeper (temporary) in WEST HAVEN, Utah
Temporary Need: 04/19/26 - 10/15/26. One (1) temporary position needed for Farmworker-Beekeeper. Requirements:
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Work will be performed in West Haven, Utah.
Hours: 40 hours/wk., Mon-Fri., 8:00am-4:30pm.
Wage: $12.48/hour; H-2A workers: $10.64/hour.
Duties:
Beekeeping duties including but not limited to managing honeybee colonies for honey production and pollination, hive maintenance, pest/disease control, queen rearing, honey harvesting. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and know how to use a forklift. Must speak and understand English.
Terms and conditions of employment: Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.
Tools, room, board, kitchen facilities and transportation provided at no cost to the worker. Employer will train. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by the supervisor and will be required to keep all property and farm buildings clean. The employer will provide, at no cost to the worker, Workers' Compensation coverage or private insurance which is equal to Workers' Compensation laws for comparable employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage (AWER) that is issued and determined by DOL for the time period the work is performed (or whichever is the highest pay rate). This job is in connection with a future H-2A labor certification application.
