Actalent Quality Control Senior Associate in West Greenwich, Rhode Island
Bioanalytics Quality Analyst (Onsite – Rhode Island)
Location: Onsite – Rhode Island
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Position Overview
This onsite role supports a Bioanalytics laboratory team by providing analytical and quality expertise for testing in‑process, release, and stability samples. Working under the guidance of a front‑line manager, the successful candidate will operate in a fast‑paced, regulated laboratory environment, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation to ensure product quality and compliance.
The laboratory performs a wide range of analytical testing using sophisticated equipment, including HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and general chemistry methodologies such as Appearance, Color, Clarity, pH, Osmolality, Polysorbate, Protein Concentration, and Sub‑Visible Particle testing.
Key Responsibilities
Follow established safety guidelines, cGMPs, and applicable regulatory requirements
Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks
Ensure facilities, equipment, materials, processes, procedures, and products comply with cGMP and regulatory standards
Operate laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation
Review and approve assay documentation and laboratory records
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory
Identify and escalate quality, compliance, supply, or safety risks as appropriate
Participate in laboratory investigations and data reviews
Perform routine laboratory housekeeping and maintenance activities
Complete required training to perform assigned tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
Master’s Degree OR
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of Quality experience OR
Associate’s Degree with 6 years of Quality experience OR
High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of Quality experience
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of hands‑on experience with HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and general chemistry testing
Experience with laboratory investigations, method validation, audits, and QC processes
Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze scientific data
Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
