Actalent Quality Control Senior Associate in West Greenwich, Rhode Island

Bioanalytics Quality Analyst (Onsite – Rhode Island)

Location: Onsite – Rhode Island

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

This onsite role supports a Bioanalytics laboratory team by providing analytical and quality expertise for testing in‑process, release, and stability samples. Working under the guidance of a front‑line manager, the successful candidate will operate in a fast‑paced, regulated laboratory environment, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation to ensure product quality and compliance.

The laboratory performs a wide range of analytical testing using sophisticated equipment, including HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and general chemistry methodologies such as Appearance, Color, Clarity, pH, Osmolality, Polysorbate, Protein Concentration, and Sub‑Visible Particle testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established safety guidelines, cGMPs, and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks

  • Ensure facilities, equipment, materials, processes, procedures, and products comply with cGMP and regulatory standards

  • Operate laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation

  • Review and approve assay documentation and laboratory records

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory

  • Identify and escalate quality, compliance, supply, or safety risks as appropriate

  • Participate in laboratory investigations and data reviews

  • Perform routine laboratory housekeeping and maintenance activities

  • Complete required training to perform assigned tasks

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

QualificationsBasic Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of Quality experience OR

  • Associate’s Degree with 6 years of Quality experience OR

  • High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of Quality experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and general chemistry testing

  • Experience with laboratory investigations, method validation, audits, and QC processes

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze scientific data

  • Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
