Fabrication Associate / Production Worker (1st & 2nd Shift)
Manpower is currently hiring Fabrication Associates / Production Workers for Ferguson Enterprises Inc., a well‑established industry leader supporting fire suppression and sprinkler systems manufacturing. We are seeking dependable individuals looking for job stability, a hands‑on work environment, and long‑term growth opportunities. These positions are located in a non‑climate‑controlled fabrication shop where pipe and sheet metal are processed, fabricated, assembled, and prepared for shipment to job sites.

Available Openings & Shifts
1st Shift – Fabrication Associate
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Additional overtime available on Saturdays (minimum 6 hours)
6‑month assignment with potential full‑time conversion
2nd Shift – Fabricator Associate
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Mandatory overtime on Fridays (6–8 hours)
Evening shift role
Job Responsibilities
Operate fabrication and production equipment, including band saws, threading, beveling, and grooving machines
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe according to specifications
Read and accurately use tape measures and basic math calculations
Assemble pipe orders as single sticks or bundled materials
Move loose and bundled pipe within the shop and yard
Follow standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication
Perform basic machine setup, operation, and maintenance
Conduct quality checks and inspections during production
Maintain organized work areas and supplies
Observe all safety procedures related to fabrication, lifting, and material handling
Inspect and maintain forklift and powered industrial equipment as required
Job Requirements (Vary by Shift)
1st Shift – Fabrication Associate
Minimum 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience
Experience operating machines such as saws or similar equipment
Ability to read and understand a tape measure
Basic understanding of fabrication tools and processes
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to learn all aspects of the fabrication shop
Strong attendance, reliability, and team‑oriented mindset
Candidates currently in welding school or recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Non‑welding position
2nd Shift – Fabricator Associate
Minimum 1 year of recent machine operation experience (Examples: band saws, pipe threaders, automatic welding machines, mechanical or trade backgrounds)
Ability to read and interpret work instructions
Experience using gauges for quality checks
Strong math skills and tape measure accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, non‑climate‑controlled environment
Basic computer skills for automated equipment
Ability to handle pipe sizes ranging from ½” to 10”
Preferred experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication (6–8 months)
Non‑welding position
