Description
We have partnered with a growing company within the healthcare/medical industry on their search for a success driven, Tax Manager with proven knowledge of tax provision software and ERP systems. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related responsibilities within the organization ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role will involve managing the company’s tax planning and reporting activities, identifying tax-saving opportunities, mitigating tax risks, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors. To be successful in this role, the Tax Manager must have in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
How you will make an impact:
· Timely preparing and filing of all tax returns
· Identify and mitigate tax risks
· Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections
· Develop tax strategies
· Prepare tax account journal entries
· Review and analyze financial statements
· Implement best practices and improvements
· Coordinate tax audits
· Review staff tax transactions
· Oversee special tax related projects
Requirements
The ideal Tax Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Tax Manager role include and are not limited to:
· CPA required
· 6+ years tax experience (public/private ideal – must have some private tax exp.)
· ASC 740 and VAT/GST experience required
· OneStream a big plus
