Employees may choose from:

• Five 8-hour days (Monday--Friday) • Four 10-hour days (Monday--Thursday or Tuesday--Friday)

 

Employees working four 10-hour days may also choose a start time of 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., or 7:00 a.m.

 

POSTION SUMMARY:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products and components according to detailed specifications while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves using hand tools, equipment, and work orders to complete assemblies, perform basic testing, and identify and resolve issues during the process. The technician works closely with the production team to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion of products to support overall manufacturing goals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general assembly tasks independently using work order instruction sheets • Assemble subassemblies and integrate components into final products • Install electrical components and hardware using hand tools and basic soldering equipment • Inspect assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met • Identify and communicate any assembly issues or discrepancies • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Support team production goals by working efficiently and accurately

 

SKILLS NEEDED:

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and respectful communication skills • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently • Good manual dexterity and comfort working with hands on mechanical or assembly tasks • Experience using basic hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, wrenches, etc.) • Attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, accurate work • Organized and able to manage time effectively in a production environment • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis; up to 50 lbs. on occasion

Hours:  Standard operating hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, M-F with voluntary overtime frequently available.

 

Pay Range:  $17-$20 is based on technical skills and experience.
