About the Role:
The Logistics Delivery Supervisor is a front-line leadership position responsible for the day-to-day tactical execution of branch operations and its broader Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) strategies related to our delivery business. This role is crucial for effectively driving execution against all core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be directly engaged with delivery drivers, providing ongoing coaching, working with customers, and managing standard work processes for the Delivery Pillar, all while optimizing service and ensuring cost management. The Logistics Delivery Supervisor will also be responsible for Driver Methods, supporting the first level of Daily Management System meetings in the field.
How You Will Contribute:
As a Logistics Delivery Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily plans including order/route management, employee performance, and daily communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Drive KPIs: Lead efforts to achieve targets across four main categories:
Safety:
Promote a strong safety culture.
Drive plans to reduce branch incident/accident rates.
Ensure successful roadside inspections.
Hold Daily Management System (DMS) meetings.
Ensure effective and compliant pre- and post-trip inspections.
Conduct successful branch and cross-dock safety audits.
Service:
Ensure delivery efficiencies with accurate order fulfillments (e.g., Target TQA / Wal-Mart ASN order accuracy reports).
Ensure route compliance and on-time deliveries at the store level.
Participate in cross-functional meetings with Demand/Fulfillment Planning, Retail Teams, Customer Teams, and Headquarters Support (e.g., Leadership Planning Team meetings, District Sales meetings).
Savings:
Manage the Delivery Labor Budget and maintain financial acumen.
Complete payroll approvals (INFOR) for all direct reports in a timely manner.
Drive the lowest cost per case in delivery operations by executing annual productivity plans, Lean Six Sigma/productivity projects, maintaining the loss prevention network regarding waste, and employee performance management.
Identify supply chain opportunities and ensure issues are addressed strategically and tactically.
Participate in continuous improvement programs that reduce cost, carbon footprint, and improve service performance.
People:
Interview, onboard, and develop direct reports/core team through various formats (classroom, On-the-Job Training, Work-with) across entire Delivery operations.
Coach direct reports to create and execute development plans and support individual career goals.
Manage and engage with local hourly employees (Union/Non-Union), including coaching, communication, developing, and building relationships.

Salary:
The base salary range for this position will be communicated during the hiring process. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
2-5 years of Logistics experience (recommended but not required).

Additional Information:
People Manager: Yes – Direct Reports (Number of employees will vary based on site level).
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday with hours differing depending on the day.
Travel Requirements: Less than 10% (Domestic travel to cross docks and annual meetings).

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
