Honeywell Material Handler - Level 1 (1st shift) in West Chester, Ohio

As a Material Handler Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in efficiently and safely managing the movement of materials within our warehouse and production environments. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in material handling equipment operation and inventory management while contributing to the smooth flow of operations.

You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you’ll work out of our West Chester, Ohio location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and safety of our warehouse operations by ensuring timely and accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials, supporting production schedules and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse.

  • Assist in receiving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in material handling within warehouse or production settings, demonstrating safe and efficient movement of goods.

  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment following safety standards.

  • Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory management to support accurate and timely dispatch of materials.

  • Familiarity with basic computer usage for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Understanding of personal protective equipment usage and adherence to safety protocols in daily operations.

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory and handling processes.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.

  • Basic math skills for counting and measuring inventory.
