At a Glance
Location: Onsite – West Chester, OH
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM (45 hours/week with additional overtime opportunities, including Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Your Impact
As a Fabrication Associate , you’ll help build fire suppression systems from the ground up—bringing raw pipe into the shop and transforming it into accurately fabricated, job-ready components shipped nationwide. You’ll gain exposure to every stage of the fabrication process , building a versatile skill set that sets you up for long-term success.
What You’ll Be Doing
Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bevel pipe used in fire protection systems
Operate fabrication equipment including band saws, grooving machines, and Landis threading machines
Accurately measure random pipe lengths using a tape measure and basic math
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundled) and prepare materials for shipping
Move loose or bundled pipe throughout the shop and pipe yard (up to 50 lbs)
Perform die checks, bundling, and general fabrication support tasks
Follow all standard operating procedures and OSHA-compliant safety practices
Inspect and help maintain shop equipment; assist with forklift operations (training provided)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Stay flexible and cross-train across all areas of the fabrication shop
Note: This is a non‑welding role , though exposure to welding equipment or schooling is a plus.
Required Qualifications
6+ months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience
Experience operating machinery (saws or similar equipment preferred)
Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure ; basic math skills required
Hands-on familiarity with fabrication tools and shop environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with pipe and sheet metal daily
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Solid work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Team-player mindset with long-term growth potential
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a welding or trade school
Experience with grooving machines, band saws, or universal welders
Forklift experience (assessment required)
Background in pipe fabrication, assembly, or shop manufacturing

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
