Responsibilities for a CNC Machinist include but are not limited to:
• Set up and operate CNC machines, making necessary adjustments, offsets, tooling, and fixturing to ensure accurate production and first article inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and process specifications to manufacture consistent, high-quality parts.
• Perform first article inspections using precision measuring instruments and shop gauging; assist team members with inspections as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to develop capable and efficient production processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow Lean principles and 5S practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates for CNC Machinist must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• Minimum of 4 years of machine shop experience required.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, including CNC operations, tooling, and process adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T/mechanical drawings and perform shop math calculations.
• Experience with CNC equipment such as Okuma, Nakamura, Haas, lathes, mill-turn machines, and grinding equipment preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Mastercam and basic computer skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Details: $23.27 per hour
