Job Description:
A Brief OverviewThe Transport Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, prioritizing, and tracking patient transport, activities across the hospital, for both inpatient and out of house transfers, using Epic to support safe, timely, and efficient patient flow. This role serves as the central communication hub between nursing units, diagnostic departments, transport staff, and hospital leadership to ensure patients are transported appropriately for procedures, admissions, discharges, and interdepartmental care needs.What you will do
Manage scheduling and logistical details of patient transportation within healthcare facilities
Coordinate transport requests and ensure efficient routing
Supervise transporter staff to adhere to schedules
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
Liaise with clinical staff to coordinate patient transport needs
Qualifications:
