Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Basic knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance principles. - Familiarity with safety practices and ability to follow safety protocols. - 1+ year of relevant experience in a service or trade environment - Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting 25 - 50 lbs, bending, and working outdoors. - Reliable transportation or ability to get to work consistently. - Good attention to detail and ability to document observations accurately. - Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in pool operations. Position Summary: The Weekly Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine pool cleaning and basic water care services for residential and commercial customers. This role focuses on maintaining safe, clean, and properly balanced pools through consistent weekly service visits. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working hands-on outdoors. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine weekly pool cleaning services, including: - Vacuuming - Brushing pool surfaces - Skimming debris - Emptying baskets and filters - Test pool water chemistry and adjust as needed to maintain proper balance - Inspect pool equipment to ensure proper operation and water flow - Identify, document, and report any issues requiring repair or replacement - Maintain safe work practices and follow all company and industry safety standards Required Skills & Qualifications: - Understanding of basic pool water flow and circulation systems - Ability to perform basic water chemistry adjustments and balancing - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance - Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions - Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying equipment
