Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for our West Branch, IA location on the 3rd shift from 6 pm to 6 am. This role involves working in one of four possible areas within the warehouse where P&G products are shipped and stored. While all positions are trainable, prior experience is required for forklift operation.
Responsibilities
Stack orders on pallets according to customer specifications and prepare them for shipment.
Conduct quality control in the Rework department, inspecting damaged orders and collaborating with on-site P&G employees.
Pick and scan orders using a propane-powered sit-down forklift.
Load and unload trucks, placing products in the warehouse using RF scan guns, and physically handle products for shipment.
Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and perform occasional facility and forklift maintenance.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Experience in warehouse operations including inventory, packing, and material handling.
Skill in using RF scanners.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality control and working within a diverse team is a plus.
Ability to communicate in Spanish or French is beneficial.

The work environment is clean and safety-oriented, equipped with fans to maintain a cool atmosphere. The company fosters a family-oriented and diverse culture, and is considering bringing translators for Spanish and French on each shift. The dress code allows for shorts and short sleeve shirts, with PPE such as hearing and eye protection provided on-site.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
