Introduction :
As a Layout Engineer at GlobalFoundries Kolkata, you will work on gallium nitride and other power semiconductor technologies, contributing to custom p-cell development and layout of devices and circuits and supporting tapeout engineering work . We are looking for candidates with relevant work experience and good programming skills.
Job role:
Manual and automated l ayouts of analog/power devices and circuits
Custom P-cell development
Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech-Development, Design, PDK, and Ta peout Teams
Document work progress through technical reports and presentations and to file patents
Perform additional job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications :
Education : A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in ECE or related field
Work Experience : 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
Expertise with layout tools ( editor, DRC, PEX, and LVS )
P rogramming proficiency for p-cell development (SKILL coding or equivalent )
P rogramming skills for layout automation
Good understanding of semiconductor technology and physical design EDA tools
Language Fluency - English ( w ritten and v erbal)
