The Clerk V provides clerical & administrative support to the Director of the Center for Nursing & Allied Health (CNAH) & the Nursing Program. This role is responsible for coordinating & streamlining administrative operations within both areas, maintaining complex recordkeeping systems, & facilitating communication across faculty, staff, & students. The Clerk V ensures compliance with institutional procedures & contributes to the efficient operation of academic & clinical activities within the Center. The duties & responsibilities of this position require an on-campus presence, Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Center for Nursing & Allied Health (50%) Provide clerical & administrative support to the Director of CNAH. Coordinate & maintain procedures for simulation scheduling, clinical placement tracking, & documentation workflows. Assist with the preparation & tracking of documents for accreditation, program reviews, & grant activities. Enter & maintain data in systems such as the Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) System. Maintain documentation related to clinical site evaluations, adjunct faculty assignments, & simulation center usage. Schedule & coordinate meetings, training, & events; prepare agendas, minutes, & related materials. Maintain organized & accurate filing systems for simulation, clinical partnerships, & accreditation records. Prepare requisitions for purchase orders of lab supplies; track supply usage & assist with budget documentation. Nursing Program (50%) Provide general administrative support to nursing faculty & the Director of Nursing Education. Answer telephone & email inquiries; direct messages appropriately; respond to routine requests using established procedures. Receive & distribute incoming mail & packages. Collaborate with other administrative support personnel to coordinate program timelines, events, & communication. Maintain organized & accurate paper & electronic filing systems for Nursing Program records. Maintain confidentiality of student records & information in accordance with FERPA regulations. Recommend improvements to administrative workflows & assist with the implementation of new systems or procedures. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in office work, of which (B) at least one year must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. Knowledge of FERPA regulations & College policies & procedures or the ability to read & interpret such. High level of organizational & communication skills, flexibility, & the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with attention to detail & accuracy & handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Windows-based software & PC functions. Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, or equivalents. Ability to work independently & pay close attention to detail. Ability to work equally well with students, administrators, faculty & staff as well as representatives of partner institutions. Ability to communicate clearly & effectively, both orally & in writing. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree Experience in a fast-paced, high volume office environment. Experience working in a community college setting.
