Job Duties: Worker operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oil seed crops. Worker adjusts speed of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Performs duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area lifting at least 100 lbs. Service machinery and makes in-field repairs.
Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of (3) months experience required.
Able to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs.
To comply with Federal, State and County regulations, must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment. If applicant already has a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
