SALARY RANGE

The advertised* hiring range will be $120,880 - $151,100*, with a maximum opportunity of up to $181,320 with tenure and strong performance.

Supervisor - CAD & Surveying Services

Overview Lead, plan, and supervise assigned staff within the drafting and surveying work groups, including oversight of work activities and performance expectations. Ensure the consistent, high-quality delivery of technical drawings, models, and survey support through effective standards, procedures, and prioritization. Oversee the governance and lifecycle management of CAD and surveying technologies to support current operations and future business needs.

Responsibilities

Supervise drafting technicians and surveyors by planning and coordinating work, setting expectations, and managing performance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical drawings, models, and survey work products. Provide oversight to support consistent and effective use of CAD tools through guidance and coordination.

Develop, maintain, and administer standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across CAD and surveying workflows.

Manage the inventory, availability, and lifecycle of specialized tools and equipment required for drafting and surveying activities, including printers and plotters, surveying instruments, laser scanners, and other data-capture technologies. Plan and budget for the maintenance, replacement, and continued improvement of these assets in coordination with applicable District processes.
