Production Associate – Press & Saw Operations

Location: Wellsville, PA

Pay: $17.85 - $18.39/hour

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating schedule

Type: Full‑time

Role Summary

Pennex Aluminum is hiring Production Associates to support press and saw operations. This is a hands‑on manufacturing role where individuals may work in Tail Stretcher or Saw Helper functions based on business needs and training. Both positions support aluminum extrusion production, material flow, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with stretching aluminum extrusions (loading material into stretcher jaws, handling long extrusions, assisting the Head Stretcher)

  • Support saw operations by staging material, assisting saw operators, maintaining workflow, and preventing production delays

  • Use basic measuring tools, blocks, and gauges as needed

  • Visually inspect material for defects (bends, twists, scratches) and report issues

  • Handle aluminum carefully to prevent damage

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards

  • Perform additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred (entry‑level candidates encouraged)

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical, repetitive tasks

  • Basic math and measurement skills

  • Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Must pass pre‑employment screening and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting

  • Standing, walking, lifting, and handling long aluminum extrusions

  • Exposure to heat, noise, and production equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellsville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $19.25/hr.
