WELLSVILLE - OVERNIGHT FLOOR MAINTENANCE
POSITION OVERVIEW
An employee in this position is responsible for maintaining overall store cleanliness.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Performs tasks such as, but not limited to: mopping, sweeping, dust mopping, operating floor machines
· Ensures cleanliness of all aisles, storage areas, and work areas; includes but is not limited to: cleaning, keeping floors free of spills, removing hazardous debris from floor, sweeping/mopping.
· Ensures all equipment is in working order and safe; alerts management when safety or cleanliness is a concern
· Follows proper housekeeping and cleaning standards
· Maintains clean, safe and sanitary area and equipment
· Requires operating and using equipment such as, but not limited to: pallet jacks, carts, auto scrubbers, floor buffers, carpet shampooer, & vacuums.
· Walks store regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times
· Maintains a positive work environment with fellow employees throughout the store
· Maintains excellent communication with managers
· Expected to assist other departments as needed
· Expected to be familiar with the entire store and its layout
· Expected to monitor cleanliness and safety throughout the entire store
· Other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
· Must be aged 18 years or older
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
· 1-2 years experience preferred but not necessary
Requirements:
Requires standing, walking, bending, and/or climbing throughout the entire workday
Repetitive arm and hand movements; bending, carrying, and lifting
Requires transferring product either horizontally or vertically of up to 30-50 pounds
Weekend and holiday work will be required; flexible store assignments and hours
Various duties as assigned by supervisor
