Engage Squared Senior Business Analyst (6 month contract) in Wellington, New Zealand

About the role
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for delivering detailed business analysis and requirements documentation across multiple ECMS technical components. This role works at the intersection of business needs and technical delivery, translating stakeholder requirements into clear specifications, process designs, and operating models that enable successful migration and ongoing operation of the ECMS platform.
What you'll do
Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for the delivery of multiple ECMS technical components.
Conduct detailed scope analysis, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
Produce high-quality BA artefacts including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories.
Develop and document business processes, business rules, and operating models for the ECMS platform.
Design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support ongoing platform operation.
Map current-state and future-state processes to support migration planning and change management.
Contribute to architecture solution analysis, design, and security control remediation work alongside technical team members.
Work closely with Engage Squared engineers, information management SMEs, and business change SMEs to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical deliverables.
Extensive senior stakeholder management
What you'll bring
Previous experience working in IT Consulting (highly desirable)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to produce professional BA artefacts.
Familiarity with enterprise content management platforms, ideally SharePoint Online (essential)
Knowledge of Information architecture and content migrations.
Experience in business process modelling, operating model design, and Standard Operating Procedure development.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed scope and options analysis with clear, well-structured documentation.
Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Experience contributing to solution architecture analysis and security remediation work.
Must have - NZ Citizenship and be onshore due to timing and government clearance
