Laboratory Technician – WSP Research Centre Petone, Lower Hutt
Our Petone laboratory is seeking a recent graduate in Chemical or Physical Sciences, or a related discipline, to join our team as a Laboratory Technician. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start their career and develop practical skills within a supportive, professional laboratory environment.
In this role, you will assist with the testing of engineering materials such as bitumen, asphalt, and other specialist materials. Full training will be provided, and while any previous laboratory exposure or familiarity with material characterisation techniques would be beneficial, it is not essential.
About you:
Ability to work collaboratively with people of all levels with a high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Current, clean NZ driver license.
NZ Residency or a current Work visa.
The ability to adopt a client-centric approach.
